20 000 runners and walkers come together in solidarity to celebrate National Women’s Day at the iconic Totalsports Women’s Race!
Celebrating all women – mothers, daughters, sisters and aunts, the Totalsports Women’s Race launched in the Western Cape in 2001. In 2007 the event expanded to Johannesburg, before heading to Durban in 2011 making it SA’s largest Nationwide Women’s Day Celebration.

Your Race Envelope will contain 1 race number and safety pins
Your timing chip is attached to your race number and needs to be attached to the front of your running shirt. Please do not bend or tamper with the chip in any way.
NO CHIP NO TIME.
If you selected and paid for an ASA Temporary Licence, it will also be included in your Race Pack envelope.
All entrants will receive their technical TOTALSPORTS Women’s Race Series Event Performance T-shirt at Race Pack Collection.
Please note that technical event t-shirt sizes are limited and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

There will be NO Race Pack Collection on the day of the event.
Before arriving at Race Pack Collection, ensure you have the following with you:
All entrants are encouraged to collect their own individual race packs from the Race Pack Collection venue – no one may collect on behalf of another person without;
Substitutions are permissible until 15 July 2022 via the Entry Ninja platform.
A R50 Substitution fee will be applicable for each change.
No substitutions will be facilitated at Race Pack Collection.
Complimentary Tog Bag Facilities will be available in the Race Village.
Please ensure you attach your Tog Bag tag (perforated on your race number) to your bag before you hand your bag to the Tog Bag Assistant.
Your Race number corresponds with the tog bag tag number and you would therefor need to display the number when collecting your bag from the area.
Please do not leave valuables in your bag.
The TOTALSPORTS Women’s Race 10km will start at 08h00 followed by the 5km Fun Run.
Please make your way to the respective 10km or 5km batch, marked according to the colour of your race number/bib.
Once the 10km runners have left the start batch, the 5km runners will be allowed to move forward to the start line.
Nike, the official Technical shoe partner, will be presenting a warm up for all runners in the start chute prior to the start of the race.

We strongly encourage runners to make use of public transport | Uber | drop & go.
Please do not park illegally or in front of residential properties; vehicles will be towed away.
Do not leave any valuables in your vehicles under any circumstance.
All vehicles are parked at own risk.
Please keep in big groups of runners when moving around in Joburg CBD. Refrain from moving around by yourself or small groups.
Be aware of self-appointed street parking attendants.
Parking will be available at the following venues:
Parking tickets will be sold at R 15 each at the entrance of the parking area from Carr Street Entrance.
Limited parking will be available at SciBono Parking.

The Totalsports Women’s Race team are excited to announce that the following will no longer be required at any of the 2022 TOTALSPORTS Women’s Races in Cape Town, Joburg and Durban:
1. The wearing of face masks
2. Proof of vaccination and/or COVID testing
